Senior Mechanical Tender Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Tender Engineer with strong expertise in HVAC and firefighting systems to lead the tendering process for commercial, industrial and residential projects in Egypt.

Key responsibilities

• Review tender documents, drawings and specifications to define scope and identify risks.
• Perform accurate quantity take‑offs for all HVAC and firefighting systems.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors, send inquiries, evaluate technical and commercial offers and negotiate pricing.
• Prepare detailed cost breakdowns, unit rates and final price estimation sheets, including direct and indirect costs.
• Compile and submit comprehensive technical and commercial bid packages in line with client requirements.
• Develop value‑engineering proposals that offer cost‑effective alternatives without compromising quality.
• Ensure all proposals comply with local and international standards such as NFPA, ASHRAE and SMACNA.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 7–10 years of proven experience in MEP tendering and estimation, focusing on HVAC and firefighting systems.
• In‑depth knowledge of HVAC systems (chilled water, DX, VRF, ventilation) and fire protection systems.
