Senior Mendix Developer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Mendix Developer to design, build, and maintain high‑quality Mendix applications that meet business goals and follow best‑in‑class software standards. You will lead technical decisions, mentor junior team members, and ensure robust, secure, and performant solutions across the full low‑code lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and deploy Mendix applications using best‑practice patterns.
• Translate business requirements into scalable domain models, microflows, nanoflows, UI components, and custom Java actions.
• Design and enforce Mendix security models, adhering to the principle of least privilege.
• Implement performance, reliability, and monitoring mechanisms, championing DevOps, BizDevOps, and SecDevOps practices.
• Integrate Mendix solutions with external systems via REST, SOAP, OData, Kafka, databases, and identity providers (OIDC, Azure AD).
• Create reusable productized modules and robust mobile apps with offline synchronization and native iOS/Android builds.
• Lead code reviews, documentation, and technical hand‑over artifacts such as LLD and API specs.
• Mentor junior and intermediate Mendix developers and lead solution‑design workshops.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional experience developing Mendix applications.
• Strong understanding of low‑code architecture, security, and performance optimization.
• Proven ability to guide and coach less‑experienced developers.
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with product owners, architects, and external teams.
