About the role
The Senior MEP Quantity Surveying Engineer will lead commercial management activities for construction projects in Upper Egypt. This role combines advanced quantity surveying tasks with mentorship of junior engineers, ensuring cost‑effective delivery while complying with contractual terms.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare accurate quantity take‑offs from drawings and specifications.
- Evaluate subcontractor and supplier invoices and process interim payments.
- Prepare variation assessments and ensure contractual compliance.
- Guide and mentor junior quantity surveying engineers.
- Collaborate with planning, procurement, and site teams to optimise cost efficiency.
- Maintain comprehensive records for contractual and audit purposes.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of solid experience in construction quantity surveying.
- Strong knowledge of contract administration, including FIDIC and local standards.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, communication, and leadership abilities.
