Senior Network Administrator

About the role

The Senior Network Administrator will join our on‑site team in Beni Suef to design, implement and maintain a robust network infrastructure. You will ensure stable, secure operations across switches, routers, firewalls and related systems while supporting internal users and projects.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and manage network devices including Cisco switches and FortiGate firewalls.
• Monitor network performance, diagnose connectivity issues and optimise capacity.
• Implement and enforce network security policies, apply patches and maintain documentation.
• Provide technical support to internal teams and coordinate with system administrators for server integration.
• Participate in infrastructure projects, recommend improvements for reliability, scalability and security.
• Maintain backup solutions, storage systems and UPS equipment.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Computer Science or a related field.
• 3–5 years of hands‑on experience in network administration and infrastructure management.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server environments and virtualization technologies.

Required skills

• Windows Server 2012‑2019 (Active Directory, DNS, GPO, File Server, WSUS, WDS, DHCP).
• VMware ESXi 6.0/6.5, vCenter 6.0/6.7, HP iLO, Dell iDRAC, VM cloning, snapshots, migration, high availability.
• SAN/NAS storage (HP SAN, QNAP, Lenovo, Western Digital).
• Backup solutions (Symantec Backup Exec 16, Veritas).
• Cisco switch configuration, access lists, VLANs.
• Kaspersky Security Center 10‑13.
• FortiGate firewalls (100D, 200E, 80C, 200D) – policies, web filtering, application control, IPS, antivirus, SD‑WAN, FSSO, automation, VPN/IPsec.
• FortiAnalyzer‑VM64 for reporting and log analysis.
• CCTV systems (Vivotek, Hikvision) – DVR/NVR management.
• UPS monitoring (APC, HP R7000).
• Network and end‑device troubleshooting (printers, PCs, laptops, mobiles).
• Fire‑fighting system monitoring and maintenance.
