Senior Non-Key Expert - Human Development

About the role

NTU International A/S is leading a consortium preparing a proposal for the EU-funded project "Egypt Downtown Facility". The project aims to strengthen the EU-Egypt partnership through rapid, flexible technical assistance on bilateral cooperation priorities. It is looking for a Senior Non-Key Expert in Human Development to support assignments on human capital, education and skills, employment and labour-market policies, social policy, institutional strengthening and socio-economic development.

Required profile

• Master's degree in development studies, economics, education, social policy, public policy, labour economics or a related field.
• At least 7 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience in human development, education, skills development, employment and/or social policy.
• Experience preparing sector assessments, policy analyses, strategies, background papers or recommendations.
• Experience supporting institutional capacity building and reform in public institutions.
• Good knowledge of human capital development and socio-economic policy issues.
• Experience in Egypt and/or the MENA region highly desirable.

Required skills

• English at C1 level; Arabic and French are assets.
