Senior Procurement Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Procurement Engineer to lead the sourcing and cost‑control activities for technical materials across our construction projects. The role involves close collaboration with design, planning and project teams to ensure that all specifications are met while achieving the best commercial outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Identify project requirements, client obligations and verify designs before releasing tenders.
• Study specifications, drawings and bills of quantities and prepare detailed cost breakdowns.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to define project phasing and issue invitations to tender.
• Assess and negotiate tender rates, conduct price analysis and propose material alternatives.
• Prepare technical and commercial comparison sheets and stay updated on market trends for raw materials and commodities.
• Evaluate new and existing suppliers, add approved vendors to the database and maintain a price database for materials, equipment and supplies.
• Maintain accurate procurement logs, tender tracking and procurement plans in coordination with project planning.
• Conduct market analysis to secure the best purchase deals and manage directly procured items within approved budgets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Architecture or Civil).
• 3‑4 years of procurement experience.
• Good command of English.
