Senior Procurement Officer – Manufacturing

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Procurement Officer to join a multinational manufacturer of home and personal care products. The role is based in 6th of October City and reports to the Procurement Lead, focusing on strategic sourcing, supplier management, and compliance within a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Negotiate contracts and drive cost‑saving initiatives for chemicals, packaging, and other raw materials.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and supplier performance metrics such as OTIF and SNCR.
• Manage supplier relationships, resolve quality or supply issues, and ensure REACH compliance documentation.
• Collaborate with finance to guarantee timely payments (POT) and with cross‑functional teams (planning, quality, development) to align purchasing with cost, quality, and delivery targets.
• Track orders, oversee escalation processes, and maintain accurate purchase records in internal databases.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of procurement experience in personal care, cosmetics, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, or food manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of purchasing personal care chemicals and packaging materials.
• Familiarity with relevant legislation such as ISP and REACH.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

Required skills

• Advanced user of SAP.

• Standard working hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM with a 1‑hour break.
• Weekend days off: Friday and Saturday.
