Senior Procurement & Tendering Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Procurement & Tendering Specialist to join our leading general supplies company in Cairo. In this role you will drive sourcing activities, manage tender processes and ensure optimal value for the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and qualify new suppliers while maintaining strong relationships with existing vendors.
• Obtain, compare and evaluate quotations to secure the best price, quality and delivery terms.
• Prepare technical and commercial comparison sheets for internal review.
• Manage tendering and bidding processes from start to finish.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms and delivery schedules with suppliers.
• Issue purchase orders and monitor order fulfillment.
• Coordinate with suppliers to guarantee timely delivery and compliance with specifications.
• Prepare procurement and tendering reports for management.
• Maintain the supplier database and assess supplier performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Supply Chain or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing and tendering.
• Proven experience handling suppliers and preparing commercial offers.
• Strong negotiation and communication abilities.
• Good command of English.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems (preferred).
