Senior Quality Specialist

About the role

The Senior Quality Specialist drives and maintains the highest standards of food quality, safety, and regulatory compliance across all store operations. Working closely with the QA & FS Manager and operational teams, the role embeds a culture of quality throughout the business.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain HACCP plans, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000 and other food safety management systems.
• Conduct internal audits, inspections and product evaluations to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
• Lead root‑cause investigations, CAPA processes and supplier audits.
• Identify quality gaps, drive continuous‑improvement projects and analyse KPI trends.
• Create and update SOPs, work instructions and quality checklists.
• Deliver food‑safety training and mentor operations teams.
• Coordinate third‑party audits, health inspections and certification renewals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Veterinary Medicine or related field (required).
• Post‑graduate qualification or professional certification in food safety/quality management (advantage).
• 1–3 years of progressive experience in quality assurance or food safety within food & beverage or hospitality.
• Experience leading HACCP studies, internal audits and CAPA processes.
• Background in coffee industry or quick‑service restaurant is a plus.
