Senior Quality Specialist

About the role

The Senior Quality Specialist will lead food quality, safety and regulatory compliance across all store operations. Working closely with the QA & FS Manager and operational teams, you will embed a culture of quality and drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain HACCP plans, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000 and other food safety management systems.
• Conduct internal audits, inspections and product evaluations to ensure compliance with company standards and local/international regulations.
• Investigate customer complaints and non‑conformances, lead root‑cause analysis and manage corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
• Support supplier audits and evaluate supplier performance.
• Identify quality gaps, lead data‑driven continuous‑improvement projects and analyse KPI trends.
• Create and update SOPs, work instructions and quality checklists.
• Deliver food safety and quality training, and mentor operations teams.
• Coordinate third‑party audits, health inspections and certification renewals, acting as primary contact for regulatory bodies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Veterinary Medicine or related field (required).
• 1–3 years of progressive experience in quality assurance or food safety within food & beverage or hospitality.
• Experience leading HACCP studies, internal audits and CAPA processes.
• Preferred background in coffee industry or quick‑service restaurants.
• Post‑graduate qualification or professional certification in food safety/quality management is an advantage.
