About the role
Orascom Construction PLC is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveying Engineer specialized in mechanical works. The role involves accurate material quantity take‑offs, variation assessments, and preparation of payment applications in line with contract specifications.
Key responsibilities
- Perform precise material quantity take‑offs using the company’s designated software.
- Prepare professional MQTO reports and variation logs.
- Assess subcontractor and supplier variations and material take‑offs.
- Identify contract document modifications and quantify related variations.
- Support waste‑reduction initiatives and approve IPCs for suppliers and subcontractors.
- Delegate tasks to junior QS staff and ensure high‑quality deliverables.
- Maintain monthly reports, logs, and adhere to HSE policies.
Required profile
- BSc in Engineering or a Diploma in Quantity Surveying.
- 5–7 years of post‑graduate experience in quantity surveying or related fields.
- Proven ability to manage variations, prepare valuation reports, and supervise junior staff.
