Senior Quantity Surveyor Engineer

About the role

Korra Energi is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor Engineer to lead cost management, contract administration, and financial control across large‑scale construction projects in Egypt. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to ensure projects are delivered on budget and on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and maintain Bills of Quantities (BOQ), cost estimates and tender documents.
• Perform quantity take‑offs for civil, architectural and MEP works.
• Evaluate and certify subcontractor invoices, claims and variations.
• Prepare interim payment certificates and final accounts.
• Monitor project budgets, analyse variances and propose cost‑saving measures.
• Participate in tendering processes, including bid preparation and negotiations.
• Support value engineering to optimise costs without compromising quality.
• Produce progress and cost control reports for senior management.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, company policies and industry standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 5–7 years of proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor on large construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of cost estimation, contracts and tendering processes.
• Excellent analytical, numerical and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
