Senior React Developer (React, TypeScript, Node.js)

About the role

Arrow is looking for a Senior React Developer based in Cairo to lead the design and delivery of modern web experiences built on React / Next.js and Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Headless architecture. The role defines technical strategy, content modeling and integration patterns to deliver scalable, performant and SEO-optimized digital experiences with a pure headless CMS approach.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement end-to-end architecture using AEM Headless (Content Fragments, GraphQL APIs) and React/Next.js frontends.
• Architect Server-Side Rendering (SSR), Static Site Generation (SSG) and edge rendering strategies to optimize SEO and performance.
• Design content models and governance structures that enable omnichannel content reuse.
• Develop and optimize reusable React components and maintain a scalable React application structure.
• Build and package Node.js libraries reusable across projects, and write clean, type-safe TypeScript code.
• Build UI components with Material UI and integrate RESTful APIs or GraphQL endpoints.
• Implement front-end testing with Jest, Cypress or React Testing Library and optimize Webpack configurations.
• Ensure performance, accessibility and security best practices, and collaborate with backend teams on API integration and data fetching.
• Debug complex issues, take part in code reviews, mentor junior developers and stay up to date with front-end trends.

Required profile

• 10+ years of front-end experience, with at least 8 years hands-on React.
• Advanced TypeScript skills focused on type safety.
• Strong experience with Material UI and hands-on experience with Jest, Cypress and React Testing Library.
• Experience with performance tuning, lazy loading and Lighthouse optimization.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for front-end deployment.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, able to work with designers, backend developers and stakeholders.
