Senior Relationship Manager – SMEs

About the role

The Senior Relationship Manager – SMEs is responsible for managing and growing the SME portfolio of the branch, ensuring high client satisfaction while meeting business targets. This role combines client acquisition, relationship development, and comprehensive loan administration.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and service the SME portfolio: acquire new clients, open accounts, conduct regular visits, and fulfill client requests promptly.
• Create and execute action plans to achieve portfolio targets set by senior management.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for SME clients, handling inquiries, complaints, and maintaining the bank’s professional image.
• Identify cross‑selling opportunities using deep knowledge of the bank’s products and services.
• Prepare and manage loan files, including documentation, securities, contracts, and investigation reports.
• Monitor customer opportunities via Delta Portal and coordinate with business lines to set effective plans.
• Ensure proper archiving of client files and compliance with CBE regulations.
• Support less experienced Relationship Managers and cover portfolios as needed.

Required profile

• Proven experience in SME banking or relationship management.
• Strong understanding of banking products, loan processing, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent client‑service orientation with the ability to build long‑term relationships.
• Ability to work independently, set targets, and achieve results.
