Senior SEO Specialist

About the role

Homzmart, Egypt's marketplace for furniture and home goods, is looking for a Senior SEO Specialist to own organic performance across its large catalogue site, with a focus on technical SEO at scale.

Key responsibilities

• Own technical SEO across crawl health, indexation, canonicalisation, site speed and structured data
• Define and maintain the indexation strategy for category, filter and product pages
• Own the content roadmap and on-page optimisation
• Track and report rankings, visibility and organic revenue by category
• Monitor competitor and search landscape movement across priority categories
• Coordinate brand term strategy with paid search
• Review product and onsite releases for SEO impact

Required profile

• 3 to 5 years in technical SEO on sites above 10,000 indexable pages
• Ability to brief and write content, not only audit it
• Track record securing engineering prioritisation for technical fixes

Required skills

• Crawling tools, Google Search Console and log file analysis
• Preferred: marketplace or large e-commerce background, structured data at scale, SQL or scripting for log and export analysis
