Senior Site Architect

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Site Architect to lead the production and control of architectural technical documentation on construction sites. The role ensures that shop drawings, material submittals, coordinated details and as‑built packages are fully aligned with structural and MEP disciplines and approved by consultants on the first pass wherever possible.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review architectural shop drawings (plans, elevations, sections, finishes, façades, joinery and typical details) derived from IFC design documents.
• Resolve design discrepancies through RFIs and propose cost‑effective alternatives.
• Coordinate architectural drawings with structural and MEP shop drawings, managing openings, levels, ceilings and shafts.
• Prepare material submittals and sample boards, track approval cycles and maintain submittal logs, drawing registers and revision control.
• Support site teams with clarifications, mock‑up reviews and finishing method guidance; verify quantities for architectural trades and assist with IPCs and variation pricing.
• Produce as‑built drawings and handover documentation.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Architectural Engineering and membership in the Engineers Syndicate.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in technical office roles with contractors on residential or mixed‑use projects.
• Strong knowledge of finishing materials, façade systems and Egyptian code requirements.
• Good command of English and precise drafting discipline.

Required skills

• AutoCAD (expert level).
• Revit/BIM (strong proficiency).
• Photoshop and SketchUp for presentations.
• Quantity take‑off for architectural trades.
• EDMS/document control workflows (Aconex or similar).
