Senior Site Engineer

About the role

Schneider Electric is seeking a Senior Site Engineer to lead the construction and delivery of one or more sites in New Cairo, Egypt. You will be responsible for coordinating all on‑site activities, ensuring compliance with safety, quality and technical standards, and delivering projects on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the overall organization and execution of site construction in collaboration with Site Supervisors.
• Develop, monitor, and adjust site schedules, ensuring alignment with project timelines.
• Validate project objectives, costs, deadlines and resources with the Project Manager and maintain internal contracts.
• Control site budgets, identify cost‑saving opportunities, and report any discrepancies.
• Maintain NCR monitoring, risk registers, and claim documentation.
• Prepare site launch activities including design reviews, kick‑off meetings, staff mobilisation and office setup.
• Define assembly methodologies and pass work plans to site supervisors.
• Ensure accurate site record management and provide closure feedback.

Required profile

• Proven experience in site engineering or construction management, preferably in large‑scale industrial or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of safety, quality and technical regulations.
• Ability to manage budgets, schedules and multi‑disciplinary teams.
• Excellent risk assessment and mitigation skills.
• Effective communication with senior stakeholders and functional reporting lines.
