Senior Software Quality Control Engineer

About the role

The Senior Software QC Engineer will ensure the quality, reliability, performance and functionality of eVision's software applications throughout the software development lifecycle. You will work closely with developers, product owners and project managers to deliver high‑quality releases.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain test strategies, plans, cases and quality criteria based on business and technical requirements.
• Design, execute and maintain manual and automated tests covering functional, regression, integration, system, API, usability and end‑to‑end scenarios.
• Identify, document, prioritize and track defects, perform root‑cause analysis and validate fixes.
• Perform API testing and validate integrations between internal and external systems.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
• Prepare test reports, quality metrics and release‑readiness documentation.
• Support performance, security, compatibility and production release validation when required.
• Mentor junior and mid‑level QA engineers and contribute to QA standards and best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or a related field.
• At least 4 years of experience in software QA/QC or testing, with strong manual testing and defect‑management skills.

Required skills

• Manual testing, test case design and defect management.
• Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps or similar test management tools.
• API testing using Postman.
• SQL and database testing.
• Automated testing frameworks.
• Understanding of web applications, APIs, databases and system integrations.
