Senior Stock Controller

About the role

The Senior Stock Controller will oversee the end‑to‑end inventory process, ensuring accurate records, timely replenishment, and compliance with safety and quality standards. This role works closely with procurement, warehouse, and finance teams to optimise stock levels and support business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock counts.
• Reconcile physical inventory with system data and investigate discrepancies.
• Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams for timely stock replenishment.
• Implement and enforce stock control procedures to minimise losses and waste.
• Prepare detailed inventory reports and analyses for relevant departments.
• Oversee receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, ensuring proper documentation.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required inventory data.
• Collaborate with sales and planning teams to forecast inventory needs.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards in all stock handling processes.

Required profile

• 8‑11 years of progressive experience in stock control, inventory management, or supply chain.
• Proven track record in senior management, team leadership, and performance coaching.
• Must have a car.
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance or equivalent experience.
