Senior Stock Controller

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Stock Controller to lead our inventory operations in Cairo. The role ensures accurate stock records, supports supply‑chain efficiency and collaborates closely with procurement and warehouse teams.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records for all stock items.
• Conduct regular physical counts and reconcile them with system data.
• Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams to guarantee timely replenishment.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, reporting findings to management.
• Implement and enforce stock‑control procedures to minimise loss and waste.
• Prepare detailed inventory reports and analyses for relevant departments.
• Oversee receipt, storage and dispatch of goods, ensuring proper documentation.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required inventory data.
• Collaborate with sales and planning teams to forecast inventory needs based on trends.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and quality standards in all stock‑handling processes.

Required profile

• 8‑11 years of progressive experience in stock control, inventory management or supply‑chain roles.
• Proven ability to lead teams, coach staff and manage performance.
• Strong vendor‑management and negotiation experience.
• Must possess a personal car.
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply‑Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance or equivalent professional experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle and Microsoft Dynamics.
• Advanced data‑analysis capabilities for forecasting and decision‑making.
• Solid understanding of financial reporting related to inventory valuation.
• Knowledge of supply‑chain optimisation and warehouse‑operations best practices.
