Senior Tax Accountant – Accounting & Tax Firm

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to join our accounting and tax firm in 6th of October, Giza. The professional will lead the preparation of financial statements and ensure full compliance with Egyptian tax regulations for a diverse client base.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare complete sets of financial statements in line with Egyptian Accounting Standards.
• Accurately prepare and file corporate income tax, VAT, payroll & salary tax, withholding tax and stamp duty returns.
• Manage the E‑Invoicing and E‑Receipt portals, ensuring all transactions are correctly recorded.
• Represent clients during tax audits and inspections, preparing required documentation for tax authorities.
• Handle client inquiries, provide technical financial advice and maintain professional communication.
• Organize and keep financial records and tax files up‑to‑date.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 3‑7 years of experience in accounting and auditing offices.
• Deep knowledge of Egyptian tax laws and regulations.
• Strong understanding of Egyptian Accounting Standards and bookkeeping procedures.
• Familiarity with various accounting software packages.
• Proven experience with e‑invoicing and tax return preparation.
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
• Excellent client‑handling and communication abilities.
• Residency in 6th of October City is preferred.
