Senior Technical Office Engineer – Construction & Steel Structures

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Technical Office Engineer to join Ibn Sina Pharma’s construction team in New Cairo. The role involves preparing cost estimates, reviewing technical drawings, and ensuring projects meet budget, quality and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare material, equipment and labor cost estimates aligned with project budgets.
• Produce and review technical drawings using AutoCAD and other design software.
• Coordinate soil testing and evaluate project feasibility.
• Manage infrastructure repair and maintenance activities.
• Review, modify and redesign warehouse steel structures as required.
• Ensure compliance with permits, regulations and project requirements throughout design and construction.
• Maintain accurate department documentation and prepare regular progress reports comparing planned versus achieved objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in technical office and site engineering.
• Strong experience with steel structures.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of shop drawings, Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and quantity surveying.
• Ability to prepare technical submittals.
• Familiarity with other engineering/design software (a plus).
