Senior Technical Support Consultant – Finastra Trade Innovation

About the role

The Senior Technical Support Consultant will provide advanced monitoring, batch and interface support, technical troubleshooting, and deployment services for Finastra Trade Innovation solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the highest internal escalation level, resolving complex technical issues that Tier 1 and Tier 2 cannot fix.
• Analyze software bugs, network failures, and infrastructure problems using system logs, debug data, and code‑level analysis.
• Collaborate with product developers, engineers, and architects to report bugs, test patches, and deploy hot‑fixes.
• Prepare and execute test scenarios covering full transaction lifecycles and support SIT, UAT coordination, and defect triage.
• Contribute to version upgrades, regression testing, and production support for complex functional issues.

Required profile

• 7‑10 years of total IT experience with deep expertise in Finastra Trade Innovation and trade finance operations.
• At least 3 years hands‑on experience with Finastra Trade Innovation (TI Plus, TI Plus2, or Fusion Trade Innovation) across multiple implementations or upgrades.
• Strong knowledge of documentary credits, guarantees, collections, trade financing products and related ICC rules (UCP 600, ISBP 821, URDG 758, ISP98, URC 522, URR 725, eUCP, Incoterms 2020).
• Familiarity with SWIFT Category 4 and 7 messages, MT798, and trade digitisation standards such as MLETR.
