SEO & Social Media Content Writer

About the role

Dot IT is looking for an experienced SEO & Social Media Content Writer to join its full-time remote team. You will create high-quality content for SEO, websites and social media, working closely with the SEO and Social Media teams on strategic, engaging content for multiple clients across different industries and international markets. The position is fully remote with flexible working hours.

Key responsibilities

• Write SEO blog articles based on keywords, search intent, content briefs and SEO requirements.
• Create website pages, landing pages, service pages and other marketing content.
• Write social media captions, post copy, campaign messaging and short-form content, including scripts and copy for Reels and videos.
• Research industries, competitors, target audiences and topics before writing.
• Adapt style, tone and messaging to different brands, industries, audiences and platforms.
• Apply on-page SEO best practices: keyword placement, headings, meta titles, meta descriptions, internal linking and content structure.
• Review, edit and proofread existing content.
• Collaborate with the SEO team on search-focused content and with the Social Media team on content calendars, messaging and brand voice.
• Manage several client projects at once while meeting deadlines.

Required profile

• 2+ years of professional content writing experience.
• Previous experience in a digital marketing agency and a strong portfolio of SEO articles, website content and social media content.
• Proven experience writing SEO articles, website content and marketing copy, and creating social media content for different brands.
• Experience managing multiple clients or projects simultaneously.
• Preferred: experience writing for international and/or GCC markets, familiarity with SEO tools, experience with AI tools in content workflows, video script and advertising copy writing, and basic knowledge of GEO and AI search visibility.

Required skills

• Excellent English writing, editing and proofreading.
• Strong understanding of SEO content principles, keywords, search intent and on-page SEO.
• Ability to research unfamiliar industries and adapt tone across professional, corporate, B2B, B2C and social media content.
• Strong organisation, attention to detail and deadline management.
