SEO Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an SEO Specialist to join our growing Ed‑Tech startup, Career 180. You will drive organic growth by optimizing our website, content and backlink profile, ensuring we reach students and young professionals across Egypt.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct keyword research and identify growth opportunities.
• Optimize website content, landing pages, and blog posts for SEO.
• Perform on‑page and off‑page SEO activities.
• Monitor website performance using tools such as Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
• Analyze competitors and market trends to refine strategy.
• Manage backlink strategies and link‑building campaigns.
• Ensure technical SEO health, including site speed, mobile‑friendliness and proper indexing.
• Create, write, and optimize website copy for search visibility.
• Track, report, and analyze SEO performance metrics.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
• 2‑3 years of experience in SEO or digital marketing.
• Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking methods.
• Experience with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush and Ahrefs.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS and basic website development is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
