SE&OP Specialist

About the role

The SE&OP Specialist will lead the Sales, Engineering and Operations Planning process for Hitachi Energy, ensuring demand and supply are balanced across the organization. This role supports strategic decision‑making by providing accurate forecasts, analysis and actionable recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate the end‑to‑end SE&OP process, including data collection, analysis and preparation of materials for review meetings.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, engineering, production, procurement and finance to gather forecasts, capacity and inventory data.
• Identify demand‑supply gaps, risks and opportunities and propose corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain SE&OP reports, dashboards and KPIs to monitor performance.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives and implement best practices in the SE&OP process.
• Support the design and implementation of forecasting models and tools.
• Communicate SE&OP plans and insights to stakeholders across the company.
• Participate in cross‑functional supply‑chain optimisation projects and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in supply‑chain planning, demand planning, production planning or SE&OP, preferably in manufacturing or technology.
• Strong understanding of SE&OP principles and frameworks.
• Proven analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Effective communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
• Experience working in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
