ServiceNow Developer – Associate

About the role

The ServiceNow Developer – Associate will design, develop, and maintain custom applications and workflows on the ServiceNow platform for PwC’s clients in Cairo. Working within an Agile environment, you will translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions while mentoring junior developers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain custom ServiceNow applications and modules.
• Configure workflows, forms, business rules, and client/server scripts using JavaScript.
• Integrate ServiceNow with external systems via REST and SOAP APIs.
• Participate in code reviews, release planning, and Agile ceremonies.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure solutions meet business needs.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers, promoting best practices.

Required profile

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) – required.
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) – required.
• ServiceNow ITSM Certification – preferred.
• Experience in building and supporting enterprise‑level ServiceNow solutions.
• Ability to work in a senior associate capacity and mentor junior staff.

Required skills

• JavaScript (client‑side and server‑side scripting).
• ServiceNow platform development and App Engine tooling.
• REST and SOAP API integration.
• Agile/Scrum development methodology.
• HTML, CSS, XML.
• Knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM, ITAM modules.
• Familiarity with Service Catalog, CMDB, Flow Designer, Performance Analytics, IntegrationHub.
