Shopify Front End Developer

About the role

We are looking for a talented Shopify Front‑End Developer to join our remote team. You will be responsible for building, customizing, and maintaining the client‑side of our Shopify e‑commerce platform, ensuring fast, scalable, and user‑friendly experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and customize Shopify themes using Liquid, meta fields, DOM manipulation, asynchronous JavaScript and advanced CSS.
• Ensure technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimise them for speed and scalability.
• Build reusable code libraries for future projects.
• Collaborate with the development team to meet project timelines.
• Stay up‑to‑date with emerging front‑end trends and apply them to our platform.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a remote team.
• Familiarity with Git and GitHub version control.

Required skills

• Shopify platform expertise, including Liquid syntax, Shopify objects, customizer, meta fields and admin panel.
• Strong JavaScript knowledge, including asynchronous patterns, jQuery and Vue.js.
• Proficiency in DOM manipulation and complex CSS selectors.
• Responsive design experience with media queries.
• Knowledge of GraphQL and React.js.
• Version control using Git/GitHub.
