Site Mechanical Equipment Construction Field Engineer

About the role

Worley is seeking a Site Mechanical Equipment Construction Field Engineer to support mechanical equipment and component installation on large‑scale projects, including nuclear power plant developments. The role will act as the primary technical interface between Worley, subcontractors, and the customer on site.

Key responsibilities

• Represent Worley at internal and external project meetings.
• Review and ensure compliance of technical documents with mechanical equipment, component and welding codes, standards and contract requirements.
• Provide technical support to the Mechanical Construction Supervision Lead and site construction team.
• Monitor construction, installation and testing of mechanical equipment and associated systems, reporting non‑compliance.
• Assist engineering teams with design and safety analysis according to international and local regulations.
• Participate in safety and hazard assessments for mechanical equipment, components and welding processes.
• Review as‑built documents and prepare client correspondence related to mechanical equipment and welding systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering.
• 8+ years of experience with mechanical equipment, components and welding on large‑scale projects or nuclear power plant development.
• Demonstrated nuclear industry experience; knowledge of Russian Nuclear Codes for welding is a plus.
• Strong technical expertise and ability to analyze, communicate and influence decisions.
• Excellent written and verbal English; Russian language knowledge is advantageous.
