SOC Manager – Security Operations Center Lead

About the role

We are seeking an experienced SOC Manager to lead our Security Operations Center, ensuring continuous monitoring, detection, and response to cyber threats. The role requires strategic leadership, hands‑on technical expertise, and the ability to coordinate incident response across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage SOC operations, including L1 and L2 teams.
• Define, implement, and maintain SOC processes, procedures, and playbooks.
• Oversee monitoring of security alerts and incidents across the enterprise.
• Ensure proper triage, escalation, and incident response handling.
• Develop and maintain incident response and disaster recovery plans.
• Provide regular reports and dashboards to senior management and the CISO.
• Ensure compliance with security policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead threat‑hunting and threat‑intelligence initiatives.
• Manage third‑party vendors and security service providers.
• Drive continuous improvement in detection and response capabilities and guarantee 24x7 SOC coverage.

Required profile

• 5–7 years of experience in SOC operations and incident response management.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity architecture, network security, and best practices.
• Experience with Windows and Unix/Linux platforms.
• Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash) is a plus.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

• SIEM, SOAR, EDR, NDR, DLP technologies.
• Splunk (preferred) and other security monitoring tools.
• Incident response, threat management, and threat hunting.
• Security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, CIS.
• Risk assessment and security control evaluation.
• Executive‑level reporting and presentation skills.
• Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
