About the role
City & the Sea is seeking a full‑time Social Media Manager to join its Cairo office. You will lead the creation and management of engaging content across multiple platforms, driving brand awareness and audience interaction for a boutique travel and event consultancy.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic content plans for social media channels.
- Create, schedule, and publish compelling posts, visuals, and stories.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on performance metrics to optimize campaigns.
- Engage with online audiences, respond to comments, and foster community growth.
- Identify trends and opportunities to enhance brand visibility.
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and operations teams to align social media efforts with broader business objectives.
Required profile
- Proficiency in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO).
- Strong written communication and storytelling abilities.
- Experience designing and implementing effective content strategies.
- Creative mindset with data‑driven decision making.
- Knowledge of current social media trends and platform best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.
- Experience in travel, events, or hospitality is a plus.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, on‑site environment.
