Social Media Specialist

About the role

City & the Sea is seeking a full‑time Social Media Specialist to join its Cairo office. You will be responsible for shaping the brand’s online presence across multiple platforms, creating engaging content that showcases the company’s travel and event expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, create and schedule content for various social media channels.
• Monitor engagement, respond to comments and messages, and manage the online community.
• Develop and execute social media campaigns aligned with brand and marketing goals.
• Collaborate with internal teams to highlight destinations, events, and concierge services.
• Track performance metrics, generate insights and optimise content based on data.
• Stay up‑to‑date with platform trends, algorithm changes and best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media or a related field (preferred).
• Fluency in English; Arabic is an asset.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Visual sense with basic photo/video editing abilities.
• Experience managing social media for lifestyle, travel or events brands (beneficial).
• Ability to analyse metrics and report performance insights.
