Software Engineer - AI Agent Platform

About the role

Chatbase is an AI agent platform used by more than 10,000 businesses to handle customer conversations in support, sales and operations. It is hiring a Software Engineer to join its engineering team in Egypt and build product and platform features across the stack, end to end. The team is small, so you will own big outcomes and work directly with the CEO.

Key responsibilities

• Build product and platform features across the stack, from design through production to the customer conversation.
• Work on performance, reliability and quality at the scale of millions of conversations.
• Ship features quickly, with a focus on speed and quality.

Required profile

• 2+ years building and shipping production software.
• Strong problem-solving and coding fundamentals.
• Able to move fast while caring about quality, and able to unblock yourself.

Required skills

• TypeScript and Next.js
• Postgres and Supabase
• LLMs from major providers
