Software Engineer II – iOS

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer II – iOS to join Procore’s Mobile team in Cairo. In this role you will develop, test and ship high‑quality iOS features that help construction teams manage projects and safety on‑site.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and implement reliable features across Procore’s iOS applications.
• Apply and maintain established iOS architectural patterns (MVC, MVVM) and industry best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring code quality.
• Collaborate with Product, Design and QA to translate user needs into technical solutions.
• Identify and resolve bugs, technical debt and performance bottlenecks.
• Contribute to performance, reliability and maintainability improvements.
• Support the full feature lifecycle, including testing, deployment and production support.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 2 years building native iOS applications.
• Strong understanding of iOS architecture (CoreData, SwiftUI, UIKit) and design patterns.
• Experience with multi‑threading, memory management and performance optimization.
• Proven track record of shipping complex, high‑quality software at scale.
• Ability to lead technical initiatives and make sound decisions independently.
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills.
