Software Quality Assurance Engineer

About the role

SeekCars is building an AI‑powered automotive comparison platform and needs a Software Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure the product is reliable, performant, and delivers a seamless user experience across web and mobile devices. You will design testing strategies, execute manual and automated tests, and work closely with developers to resolve quality issues as the platform expands to new markets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, cases, and scripts.
• Perform manual and automated testing for web and mobile applications.
• Conduct functional, regression, performance, usability, and AI‑driven feature testing.
• Identify, document, and track bugs; verify fixes through retesting.
• Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Participate in product requirement reviews to ensure testability.
• Maintain automated test frameworks and scripts.
• Monitor system performance and stability in production.
• Execute cross‑browser, cross‑device, and localization testing for regional markets.
• Document testing procedures and results; contribute to agile ceremonies.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in software quality assurance or testing.
• Strong commitment to product quality and user experience.
• Analytical thinking with attention to detail.
• Effective communication in both English and Arabic.
• Ability to work collaboratively in an agile environment.
