Solution Architect – Inventory

About the role

We are looking for a Solution Architect – Inventory to join Ericsson’s Core Commerce & Orchestration unit in the MEA region. The role bridges pre‑sales and delivery, designing end‑to‑end inventory solutions that leverage Ericsson Adaptive Inventory (EAI) as the core engine.

Key responsibilities

• Lead solution positioning and proposal development for strategic OSS transformation programs.
• Act as design authority for major engagements, ensuring alignment with customer needs and Ericsson architectural principles.
• Own the technical architecture of the Inventory domain, defining and driving design for physical, logical and virtual resource inventory, service catalog models, and multi‑domain topology management.
• Integrate inventory solutions with orchestration (ESOA), assurance and mediation layers.
• Lead data migration, cleansing and reconciliation from legacy OSS systems.
• Contribute reusable assets such as inventory models, integration blueprints and migration patterns.
• Share knowledge within internal communities and promote reuse and continuous learning.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in telecom/OSS domain with hands‑on design (HLD/LLD) and customer‑facing roles.
• Proven experience with network inventory platforms, especially Ericsson Adaptive Inventory.
• Deep understanding of network and service resource modeling across physical, logical and virtual layers.
• Experience delivering data migration and cleansing projects for legacy inventory systems.
