Solution Architect

About the role

Advansys is looking for experienced Solution Architects to provide the technical vision and design robust, scalable solutions that align with its business objectives. The role sits at the interface of technical teams, project managers and non-technical stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Design comprehensive architectural blueprints, integration plans and data flows so that new and existing systems and third-party applications interact seamlessly.
• Translate complex business requirements into technical specifications, assess costs and benefits and ensure solutions deliver tangible business value.
• Guide projects through their lifecycle, identify technical risks and propose mitigation strategies within time, budget and resource constraints.
• Create detailed technical documentation, diagrams and specifications for development teams, and ensure solutions follow security protocols, compliance standards and best practices such as TOGAF.
• Act as the bridge between technical teams, project managers and non-technical stakeholders, communicating technical direction and managing expectations.

Required profile

• At least 4 years of experience in solution architecture, with proven experience designing and implementing enterprise applications.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum).
• Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and on-premises architectures.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.

Required skills

• Java.NET or similar technologies.
• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Knowledge of databases, software engineering and IT infrastructure and networking fundamentals.
• TOGAF and other architectural frameworks.
