Sound & Light Technician

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Sound & Light Technician to join the entertainment team at Rixos Premium Seagate, a luxury resort in Sharm El Sheikh. You will be responsible for setting up, operating and maintaining audio, lighting and visual equipment across the hotel’s venues, ensuring high‑quality guest experiences during daily activities, shows and special events.

Key responsibilities

• Install, test and operate audio, lighting and visual systems in theatres, beach areas, pools, lounges and event spaces.
• Conduct sound checks and lighting rehearsals before each performance.
• Provide technical support to DJs, live performers and external entertainers.
• Adjust lighting effects and sound levels in real time according to show flow and audience response.
• Collaborate with the Entertainment Manager and team to plan and execute themed nights, gala dinners and large‑scale productions.
• Follow safety standards and operational procedures when handling equipment.
• Respond to guest music or technical requests in line with resort policies.

Required profile

• Presentable, professional and guest‑oriented attitude.
• Strong attention to detail, troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
• Fluent English; additional languages are a plus.
