Staff DevOps Engineer

About the role

Geidea is seeking a Staff DevOps Engineer to lead its DevOps, platform engineering, cloud infrastructure and site reliability initiatives. The role will shape the architecture, automation and operational excellence of both cloud‑native and hybrid environments, ensuring secure and reliable software delivery at scale.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, evolution and governance of enterprise platform engineering capabilities, providing self‑service infrastructure and standardized practices.
• Own the architecture and continuous improvement of cloud‑native and hybrid infrastructure across AWS and on‑premises environments, focusing on scalability, security, reliability and cost optimisation.
• Define and govern the enterprise Kubernetes strategy and operational model on Amazon EKS and hybrid clusters, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Drive DevSecOps transformation by establishing secure CI/CD pipelines, integrating security controls and optimising release processes.
• Champion Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Ansible to achieve consistency, repeatability and compliance.
• Establish observability and reliability engineering practices through proactive monitoring, alerting, tracing and performance management using tools such as Elastic, New Relic and CloudWatch.

Required profile

• Senior technical leader with proven experience in cloud‑native and hybrid infrastructure.
• Strong collaboration skills, partnering with engineering, security, architecture, product and infrastructure teams.
• Demonstrated ability to define standards, improve developer experience and drive platform modernisation.
