Steward – Hotel Operations

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Steward to join our hotel team. You will play a key part in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen, banquet, and back‑of‑house areas while delivering excellent service to guests and colleagues.

Key responsibilities

• Handle all guest and employee interactions with a friendly, service‑oriented attitude.
• Return dirty china, glasses, and silverware to the dishwashing area promptly and ensure proper cleaning and polishing.
• Maintain neatness, cleanliness, and order across kitchens, restaurants, bars, storage areas, employee dining rooms, and other hotel zones.
• Perform routine cleaning tasks using standard cleaning products and keep floors dry to prevent slips.
• Ensure dish machines are clean and operating according to health standards.
• Manage trash and recycling removal, stock supplies, and report any shortages.
• Assist with banquet set‑up, deliver food and equipment, and keep function areas tidy.
• Participate in health department compliance and internal audits.
• Attend required meetings and uphold personal appearance standards, including uniform and PPE.

Required profile

• High school diploma (required).
• Previous stewarding experience preferred.
• Hospitality experience preferred.
