Steward – Hotel Operations

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Steward to join our hotel team. You will play a key part in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen, banquet, and back‑of‑house areas while delivering friendly service to guests and colleagues.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and polish dirty china, glassware, and silverware and return them promptly to the dishwashing area.
• Maintain neatness, cleanliness, and order in kitchens, restaurants, bars, storage rooms, employee dining areas, and other back‑of‑house spaces.
• Perform routine cleaning tasks using standard cleaning products, dry floors to prevent slip hazards, and keep dish machines sanitized.
• Manage waste and recycling, ensuring regular removal to designated areas.
• Report any shortages or equipment issues to the leadership team.
• Stock supplies as needed and assist with set‑up and breakdown of banquet functions.
• Deliver food and equipment to banquet areas and keep those spaces tidy throughout events.
• Support health‑department compliance and internal audits, attend meetings, and uphold uniform and PPE standards.

Required profile

• High school diploma (required).
• Previous stewarding experience preferred.
• Hospitality experience is an advantage.
