Storekeeper – Warehouse Inventory Management

About the role
We are looking for a diligent Storekeeper to manage our warehouse operations, ensuring accurate inventory handling, proper storage, and timely reporting. The role involves overseeing inbound and outbound movements, maintaining records, and supporting departmental needs.
Key responsibilities
- Receive and verify incoming goods against purchase orders, checking quantities, quality, and expiry dates.
- Organise, label, and store items efficiently, creating and maintaining electronic and manual item cards.
- Issue materials to departments using approved vouchers, securing necessary approvals and signatures.
- Prepare and update warehouse layout maps and maintain accurate inventory files.
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly inventory counts and generate reports on slow‑moving, expired, or damaged stock.
- Monitor stock levels, trigger reorder points, and notify managers when minimum thresholds are reached.
- Ensure warehouse cleanliness, safety equipment readiness, and clear aisles for smooth operations.
- Apply inventory management concepts such as safety stock, reorder points, and storage space calculations.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- 0–2 years of experience in warehouse or inventory management.
