Student Marketeer – 6th of October University

About the role

Red Bull is recruiting a Student Marketeer for 6th of October University. As part of its brand and product ambassador programme, the Student Marketeer drives brand image and product understanding on campus and in the region, reaches new consumers, invites product trials and works at Red Bull events. The role suits someone who values flexibility over a 9 to 5 job and enjoys a creative working atmosphere.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a brand and product ambassador: live the brand values and represent them positively in everyday interactions with consumers and customers.
• Grow the user base by inviting positive trial and awareness through product sampling, answering consumer questions and concerns.
• Build and run an insight-driven, campus-tailored plan that engages and excites students.
• Build a strong network with key local individuals and drive brand engagement on social media with authentic content.
• Build relationships with local sales account managers so Red Bull is available and visible in outlets, and help open new distribution points on and around campus.
• Use Red Bull assets to keep the brand top of mind in sales accounts and ensure store standards are followed.
• Maintain all Student Marketeer tools, plan and report activities on the dedicated online platform, and share ideas with the team regularly.

Required profile

• Second or third-year student at 6th of October University.
• Excellent communication skills, charismatic, energetic, outgoing and highly approachable.
• Immersed in student life, with a thorough understanding of the university, city and region, including behind-the-scenes activities and hot spots.
• Creative mindset, entrepreneurial spirit, responsibility and initiative.
• Affinity for learning marketing, negotiation and sales skills.
• Connected with influential groups and individuals on campus.
• Passion for the Red Bull brand and product.
• Must hold a valid driving licence.

The position is part-time, and candidates must be able to manage part-time work and studies, ideally working some evenings and weekends.
