Student Marketeer - Modern Academy

About the role

Red Bull is recruiting a Student Marketeer for Modern Academy in Cairo. As part of its brand and product ambassador programme, the Student Marketeer represents the brand on the university campus and in the region, reaching new consumers, increasing sales and managing the brand at student level. The role suits someone who values flexibility over a 9 to 5 job and enjoys a creative working atmosphere.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a brand and product ambassador: embody the brand personality and values in everyday interactions with consumers and customers.
• Grow the user base by inviting product trials and raising awareness through sampling, answering consumer questions and concerns.
• Build and run an insight-driven, campus-tailored plan that engages and excites students.
• Establish and maintain relationships with key local individuals and drive brand engagement on social media with authentic content.
• Build relationships with local sales account managers so Red Bull stays available and visible in outlets, and help open new distribution points on and around campus.
• Use Red Bull assets to keep the brand top of mind in sales accounts and ensure store standards are followed.
• Maintain Student Marketeer tools, plan and report activities on the dedicated online platform, and share ideas with the team regularly.

Required profile

• A second or third-year Modern Academy student.
• Excellent communication skills and a charismatic, energetic, outgoing and highly approachable personality.
• Immersed in student life, with a thorough understanding of the university, city and region, including behind-the-scenes activities and hot spots.
• Creative mindset, entrepreneurial spirit, responsibility and initiative.
• Ability to manage part-time work and studies, ideally available some evenings and weekends.
• Desire to learn marketing, negotiation and sales skills; connected with influential groups on campus.
• Passion for the Red Bull brand and product.
• Valid driving licence.
