Substation Project Manager

About the role

The Substation Project Manager will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of high‑voltage electrical substation EPC projects in Egypt. You will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality and safety standards while maintaining strong client and subcontractor relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end execution of HV substation projects (66kV, 220kV, 500kV).
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, cost control mechanisms, and Earned Value Management (EVM) reporting.
• Manage client communications, contractual correspondence, and claims handling.
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities.
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation plans.
• Conduct project meetings, prepare progress reports for senior management.
• Ensure compliance with HSE, QA/QC, and contractual requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Power Engineering.
• 8–12 years of experience managing substation EPC projects.
• PMP certification preferred.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and reporting abilities.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
