Supply Chain Director – Pharmaceutical

About the role

We are seeking a strategic Supply Chain Director to lead end‑to‑end supply chain operations for a leading pharmaceutical organization. The role ensures product availability, operational efficiency, and full regulatory compliance across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies.
• Oversee procurement, planning, warehousing, and logistics functions.
• Ensure continuous availability of raw and packaging materials.
• Manage supplier qualification, performance monitoring, and vendor relationships.
• Maintain compliance with Good Distribution Practice (GDP) and other regulatory requirements.
• Optimize inventory levels and control operational costs.
• Collaborate closely with Production and Quality Assurance teams.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the supply chain function.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Science, or Business (MBA preferred).
• 12–18 years of experience in supply chain management.
• Strong expertise in supply chain planning, logistics, and operations.
• Excellent vendor management and negotiation abilities.
• Strategic mindset with strong analytical and forecasting capabilities.
• Proven leadership and stakeholder management experience.
• Good command of English.
