System Team Leader for IoT SAFe Train

About the role

Orange Business is building a new mobile core dedicated to IoT, based on a cloud‑native Kubernetes infrastructure that supports 4G/5G data, voice and SMS services. As the System Team Leader for the IoT SAFe Train, you will act as the critical bridge between architecture, platform infrastructure and system validation, ensuring the lab and pre‑production environments are stable and representative of production.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a system integration team of 4‑8 members (testers, technical architect, DevOps) distributed across locations.
• Deliver and maintain stable lab and pre‑production environments for IoT services.
• Define and drive the overall testing strategy, including security, scalability, performance and resilience testing.
• Coordinate end‑to‑end IoT test campaigns and support component teams with test planning and execution.
• Represent the system team at SAFe train level, collaborating with the IoT product manager, solution architect and component‑team PO’s.
• Participate actively in SAFe ceremonies such as PI Planning, System Demos and Inspect & Adapt workshops.
• Define the qualification roadmap and manage changes to the pre‑production environment.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading system integration or validation teams in a telecom or IoT context.
• Strong understanding of SAFe/Agile Release Train practices.
• Hands‑on experience with mobile 4G/5G core, IMS and SMSC platforms.
• Ability to work across multiple locations and coordinate complex test campaigns.
• Excellent communication skills to align roadmap, priorities and risks with diverse stakeholders.
