Talent Acquisition Specialist – Fashion Retail

About the role

We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to drive hiring for our fashion retail stores. You will partner with store managers and department heads to ensure the right talent is onboarded for new openings, seasonal peaks, and ongoing growth.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with store leaders to define selection criteria aligned with brand values and customer service standards.
• Post vacancies on niche retail platforms and general job boards, tailoring channels for front‑of‑house and back‑office roles.
• Work with Digital Marketing to create compelling job ads and “Life at [Brand]” content.
• Screen CVs and conduct phone interviews to assess energy, availability, and retail presence.
• Represent the brand at fashion‑specific career fairs and recruitment events.
• Lead competency‑based interviews, evaluating sales aptitude, soft skills, and brand representation.
• Negotiate offers and explain commission structures, staff discounts, and employment terms.
• Oversee orientation and onboarding, immersing new hires in brand heritage.
• Update job descriptions with the OD team to reflect evolving retail and e‑commerce roles.
• Analyze turnover data, track probation performance, and report recruitment metrics such as time‑to‑fill and cost‑per‑hire.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in high‑volume recruitment for store operations, luxury or fast‑fashion sectors.
• Strong understanding of retail roles from floor associates to back‑office and e‑commerce positions.
• Experience with competency‑based interviewing focused on sales aptitude and soft skills.
• Ability to track and report recruitment metrics (time‑to‑fill, turnover, cost‑per‑hire).
