Tax Accountant – Ensure Compliance with Egyptian Tax Regulations

About the role
We are looking for a Tax Accountant to join our finance team in Mohandessin, Giza. The role focuses on ensuring full compliance with Egyptian tax regulations and supporting the company’s tax planning and audit processes.
Key responsibilities
- Manage compliance with all Egyptian tax regulations, including VAT, Salary Tax, Corporate Tax, and Withholding Tax.
- Prepare and submit accurate monthly and annual tax returns through the Egyptian Tax Authority e‑portal.
- Represent the company during tax audits and liaise with tax inspectors.
- Monitor changes in tax legislation and advise management on tax planning and risk mitigation.
- Perform reconciliations between financial statements and tax filings.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting department (English section preferred).
- 3‑5 years of proven experience as a Tax Accountant in trading/industrial companies or top audit firms.
Required skills
- Strong expertise in Egyptian E‑Invoicing and E‑Receipt systems.
- Advanced Excel proficiency.
- Experience with ERP solutions.
