Technical Engineer

About the role

MSI is seeking a full‑time Technical Engineer to join its Cairo team. You will support the design, development and production of premium furniture, kitchens and dressing rooms, ensuring technical feasibility and high quality throughout the product lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Review and update technical drawings and product specifications.
• Coordinate with design, production and quality teams to guarantee compliance with standards.
• Assist in optimizing manufacturing processes and troubleshoot technical issues on the shop floor.
• Document technical changes and maintain accurate records.
• Support the introduction of new materials, hardware and production technologies.

Required profile

• Strong technical background in mechanical, industrial or furniture engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• Experience in furniture or interior‑solution manufacturing is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Detail‑oriented and comfortable working in a fast‑paced, hands‑on environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD or similar design tools.
• Ability to interpret and create technical drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of furniture‑related materials, hardware and manufacturing techniques.
• Process optimization and continuous‑improvement expertise.
• Troubleshooting skills on a production floor.
